These Terms of Use ("Terms") are a legally binding agreement between you ("you," "User") and Beginning World OÜ, registry code 16482716 ("Beginning.com," "we," "our," or "us").

These Terms govern your access to and use of our:

  • Website and digital content ("Academy"), including online courses and downloadable materials

  • Offline offerings and services

By using our App, website, or services (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

Your access to and use of the Services is subject to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. By using our Services, you affirm that you are at least 13 years of age (16 in the EU) and capable of entering into a legal agreement.

If you are under 18, you must have the consent of a parent or legal guardian. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use our Services.

2. Scope of Services

Beginning.com provides:

  • Digital wellness tools via the App, including 3D sound journeys, tracking tools, and personalized content

  • Educational content via Beginning.com Academy, including expert-led courses, workbooks, video masterclasses, and live support

Some features are available for free, while others require a one-time purchase, subscription, or course enrollment.

3. Registration and Account Security

To use many Services, you must register an account. You agree to provide accurate information and keep it up-to-date. You are solely responsible for all activities under your account and for maintaining its confidentiality.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts suspected of fraudulent, abusive, or non-compliant activity.

4. Payments and Subscriptions

You agree to pay all applicable fees for paid content, courses, and subscriptions. Payments are processed through third-party providers (e.g., Stripe, Apple, Google). We are not liable for third-party errors.

Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled. You can manage or cancel subscriptions via your account or App Store/Google Play settings.

5. Refund Policy

5.1 Academy Courses

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee for all courses purchased directly through Beginning.com Academy if less than 10% of the course content has been viewed. No refunds will be issued beyond that threshold.

To request a refund, email [email protected] within 14 days of purchase. Any payment processor fees or currency exchange costs may be deducted.

5.2 App Subscriptions

App subscription refunds are subject to the policies of the App Store or Google Play. If you subscribed through them, you must request refunds via those platforms.

6. License and Use Restrictions

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use our Services for personal, non-commercial purposes.

You may not:

  • Copy, share, or redistribute our content

  • Modify, decompile, or reverse engineer any software

  • Use automated systems to access our Services

  • Resell access or use of the content

Violation may result in account termination and legal action.

7. Intellectual Property

All content provided by Beginning.com, including but not limited to text, audio, images, video, and code, is the intellectual property of Beginning.com or its licensors. You do not acquire any ownership rights by using the Services.

8. Medical Disclaimer

Our content is for informational and wellness purposes only. It does not substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult your healthcare provider for medical decisions.

Do not use our Services if you are experiencing distress or require urgent medical assistance.

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access for any violation of these Terms, with or without notice. Upon termination, your license ends and you must cease all use of the Services.

You may terminate your account at any time by emailing support or through the App Store/Google Play.

10. Service and Warranty Disclaimer

Services are provided "as-is" and "as available". We make no guarantees regarding availability, functionality, or suitability for your needs.

We do not warrant:

  • That Services will be uninterrupted or error-free

  • That content is accurate, reliable, or up to date

  • That issues will be corrected

Use of our Services is at your own risk.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Beginning.com shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits or data.

Total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the preceding 12 months or $50, whichever is greater.

12. Privacy

Your use of our Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using our Services, you consent to our data collection and processing practices.

13. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you via email, app notification, or website post. Continued use of the Services after updates constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Estonia. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Harju County Court, Tallinn, Estonia.
